The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County is a county-wide community resource for charitable giving. We are an enduring source of charitable funds to meet the changing needs and interests of the region.

Since 1998, The Community Foundation has supported our county with grants and scholarships totaling more than $37 million. The Foundations charitable assets under management have grown to nearly $65 million and provide support to all aspects of our community in perpetuity.

The Community Foundation is San Luis Obispo County’s largest provider of scholarships. Since our program began in 2000, we have provided more than $2.6 million in scholarships. Thanks to generous donors, we award more than $250,000 annually to support the students that will inspire our futures.
